Please take the time to read and understand the conditions of booking a travel retreat with Cheryl Deer.
Payments
We accept the following forms of payment:

- CREDIT CARD : Use the add to cart feature on the website.
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required for your booking to be confirmed. If your booking is made within 3 weeks of the retreat start date, then the full amount is payable at the time of booking which includes your non-refundable deposit.
Final Payment
Payment of the balance of the trip is due 3 weeks prior to the retreat start date. If the balance is not paid on or before the due date we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled.
Room Types
Room types are available on a first come first serve basis. Some rooms book faster than others and we cannot guarantee a certain type of room, nor can we guarantee the possibility of sharing a room. If you would like to share a room and are traveling alone, we would be happy to match you up with someone else from the retreat if that is available.
- Double room means 2 people in each room
- Single rooms mean you will have the room to yourself
Shuttles
Retreats outside of the country have an arranged group shuttle that is included in the price of the retreat. Please be mindful of the group shuttle pick up times and plan your flights accordingly. If you choose to travel on dates or times other than the suggested, we would be happy to help arrange transportation for you but all costs will be your responsibility. Sometimes flight times require that you stay the night prior to the start date of the retreat. Again, we are happy to support you in booking accommodation, but you are responsible for any additional costs associated with that.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
You must carry a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits and certificates for the countries in which you will visit during your trip. Your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits and certificates for your trip. Cheryl Deer & Cher Aslor are not responsible if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct passport, visa or other travel documentation.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is recommended for all travelers, and if purchased, should be taken out at the time of booking. Your travel insurance should provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with all recommended minimum coverage of $200,000 USD. We strongly recommend it cover cancellation, curtailment, and all other expenses that might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay, illness preventing your trip or inconvenience.
Right To Refuse Service
Cheryl Deer, Cher Aslor and the retreat organizers reserve the right to accept, decline, or retain any person as a participant at the Retreat at any time without liability and without any obligation to pay a refund or any other amount whatsoever. The Retreat Organizers take no responsibility or liability for any participant who leaves the Retreat prior to its conclusion or for any activity undertaken by any participant that is not included on the Schedule of Events or other itinerary.
Cancellation Due To Retreat Booking Numbers
Cheryl Deer reserves the right to cancel any retreat prior to departure in the event that there are too few people booked in which case you will be given a full refund of any and all payments made. You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation for any injury, loss, expenses or damage (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation (including but not limited to visa and passport fees and expenses, flights, flight cancellation and reservation fees, and vaccination costs).
Changes
Cheryl Deer reserves the right to make changes to any aspect of the retreat if, in the absolute discretion of Cheryl Deer Yoga, it is necessary to do so due to conditions that may be hazardous or dangerous or due to any other adverse or threatening conditions such as weather, political, military, terrorist or otherwise or for any other reason considered necessary by Cheryl Deer.
Cancellations By Participant
If you as a retreat participator have to cancel a retreat for any reason, including but not limited to bad weather, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, flight delays or cancellations, illness, health conditions, medical or personal or family or work emergencies or change of mind, the policy is as follows:
- If you cancel more than 90 days in advance of retreat start date, a full refund, minus non-refundable deposit will be given.
- If you cancel with 30 days or less of the retreat start date, no refund will be given.
If the participant has to leave prior to its conclusion, refunds will not be made for the unused portion of the trip. No refunds will be made for any excursion, meal, yoga class or workshop or other activity that the participant misses or decides not to participate in for any reason.
Cancellation by Cherl Deer / Cher Aslor
Cheryl Deer and Cher Aslor also reserve the right to cancel any retreat due to any material change in any government travel warning or advisory. In this event, we will do all we can to transfer any payments you may have made to a future retreat.
If Cheryl Deer or Cher Aslor are prevented from performing any of their obligations under this Agreement by weather, strikes, trade disputes, fire, breakdowns, interruption of transport, government or political action, acts of war or terrorism, acts or omissions of a third party or for any other cause whatsoever outside Cheryl Deer or Cher Aslor’s reasonable control, Cheryl Deer and Cher Aslor will be under no liability whatsoever to you and may either cancel or postpone the retreat.
